The team at SynJon started the new year with a bang, meeting up to discuss our plans for 2024!
In the pipeline is the publication of founder John Teague's memoirs from his time in the RAF during the war years. Author Helen Allinson is currently compiling the book which will combine John's diaries with a series of letters that he wrote to his parents whilst he was overseas. He was stationed in many places including Brussels, Ostende, Holland and Hamburg.
Helen said, "I'm enjoying seeing where the letters fit into the diary entries and how you can follow the emotions on both sides."
The book will cover the period 1938 when John was just 16 years old and concludes in 1947 when he finally comes home and meets his future wide Dorothea.
